Minnesota tees

MFM Apparel is a t-shirt company started by some cool peeps I know, Saman and Erica. Saman designed a threadless tee, which instantly gives him all sorts of art cred. On top of that, he makes cool designs related to Minneapolis and Minnesota- so if you want to represent, check out their website or etsy store. I've got the blue one above and would happily be twinsies. Oh yeah, and they'll be at Uptown Market this year, so look for 'em there!

The Print Gocco ship has sailed.

I'm totally bummed I didn't know about the Print Gocco until it was too late. A small do-it-yourself screen printing system with endless possibilities. An estimated 1/3 of Japanese households have them, mainly to design New Year's cards. I want to start using stencils/decals on my pottery, and of course would want to make t-shirts, totes, cards etc. Unfortunately it's not being produced any longer, and the only place to find them is on ebay for a couple hundred dollars. Gah. I guess I'll have to settle for the less-cool, squeegee kits that you can find at Urban Outfitters.
